Ingredients

Your baby’s skin is our priority. That’s why we carefully select each ingredient that goes into Huggies® diapers. Here’s a look at all the unique ingredients and their purpose.

INGREDIENTS	PURPOSE
Wood Pulp	Helps absorb wetness and store it away.
Polypropylene	A common material in fibers and films. Used to deliver softness, durability and protection.
Polyethylene	A common material used in fibers and films. We use it to deliver softness, breathability, and protection.
Polyrurethane elastics	A material with stretch that provides a great fit and helps prevent leakage.
Polyolefin Elastic	A material with stretch that provides a great fit and helps prevent leakage.
Adhesives	Used to hold things together. In our diapers, adhesives are used to hold the components together or help adhere the products to garments.
Colorants	Pigments and colorants are used to provide the colors and designs seen on our products. The amounts we use per product are very small and are evaluated to ensure they are safe and non-sensitizing.
Printing Inks	Printing inks are used to provide a decorative design. The colorants and pigments we use are evaluated to ensure they are safe and non-sensitizing.
Sodium Polyacrylate	A superabsorbent material that pulls in and absorbs fluid for wetness protection.
Polyester	A common fiber found in many fabrics or textiles. We use it in our products to deliver softness and protection.
Color-changing wetness indicator	An adhesive with color-changing ink that helps to identify when urination has occurred without disturbing the baby.

Rated 5 out of 5 by w0ndrw0mn10 from Innovative barrier keeps baby dry! I am impressed with this version of Huggies. The new layer above the diaper is new and does a good job. It catches body fluid and has a slots for it to sink to the layer under it. It keeps baby dryer between diaper changes I am also glad to say that this version of Huggies does not leave lint behind like the Snug and Dry or Special Delivery. The diapers is a bit short in length but it made up for it with the generous stretch at the waist for baby. The tabs can be repositioned more than once if you need to do so. I will be using this brand as a second choice to Rascal and Friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by achiu9 from Great diaper, but a little bulky The Huggies Skin Essentials is a great diaper to hold pee and poop. We felt that this diaper is a little on the bulkier side. It didn't trigger the wetness strip as fast as the competitor for a small to medium pee. However overall is fine.

This is very inconvenient for long trip or through the night sleeping. Huggies Skin Essentials diapers Passed the test. I put my little one on these diapers for the night and hoped for the best. In the morning, baby was dry and accident free. The fit of the diapers are good on my little one. The tabs on the diaper are well made and don’t tear off when you try to readjust them. I highly recommend Huggies Skin Essentials diapers.

They are very soft which is important with any product being used on a baby. What I really liked is that these diapers are dermatologist tested and are free of parabens, fragrances and even chlorine! I would definitely recommend these diapers to someone I know and I will absolutely buy them again.

I love the light design that doesn’t show through clothes. I put these on my daughter before bed and she didn’t wake up with any rash or skin irritation and they were also leakproof through the night. I would recommend these to anyone especially if your little one has sensitive skin. These have no smell like some of the diapers out there and are soft and gentle on the skin.
